Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data Ktechpit ("we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We have written this to be as clear and direct as possible — no boilerplate, no hidden practices.
No telemetry. Ever.
Our applications do not collect usage statistics, analytics, crash reports, feature-usage tracking, or any other form of telemetry. What you do inside the app stays entirely on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
1. Data We Collect
We collect only the minimum data needed to operate the licensing service:
- Email address — provided by you at checkout. Used to send your purchase confirmation and license certificate, and to authenticate you in the Self-Service Portal via one-time code.
- Account ID — a unique identifier generated by the application on your device. Used solely to link your purchased license to your installation.
- Transaction reference — the payment reference or transaction ID returned by PayPal or PhonePe after a successful payment. Used to verify your purchase and for dispute resolution.
- Support messages — if you contact us for help, we retain your message and our response for continuity of support.
We do not collect your name, phone number, physical address, device identifiers, IP address, browser fingerprint, crash logs, or any form of analytics. We do not build user profiles.
2. Payment Data
We never see or store your payment card details, UPI credentials, or banking information. All payments are processed directly and entirely by PayPal (international) or PhonePe (INR). Both gateways use 256-bit TLS encryption and are PCI DSS compliant. We receive only a transaction reference number to confirm a payment was successful.
Ktechpit will never ask for your card PIN, OTP, or banking password. If you receive any such request claiming to be from us, treat it as fraudulent and report it.
3. Portal Login — No Password Required
The Self-Service Portal does not use passwords. Every login is authenticated via a one-time code (OTP) sent to your purchase email address. There is no password to be stolen, leaked, or forgotten. Session data is stored in a short-lived server-side session and cleared on logout.
4. Application License Checks
When the application verifies your license, it sends only your Account ID to our server. No other data — usage, content, filenames, preferences — is transmitted. If you are offline, the app continues to function using the last known license state.
5. Cookies
The public website does not set tracking or analytics cookies. The Self-Service Portal uses a single server-side session cookie to keep you logged in during your visit. This cookie contains no personal data — only a session identifier — and is cleared when you log out or close your browser.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising or marketing purposes.
The only external parties that receive any data from you are:
- PayPal / PhonePe — your payment details go directly to them; we receive only the transaction reference in return.
- Our email provider — your email address is used to send transactional emails (purchase confirmation, OTP). We do not add you to any mailing list.
- Legal authorities — only if required by law or court order, and only to the extent legally necessary.
7. Data Retention
We retain your email address, Account ID, and transaction reference for as long as your license record exists, and for a reasonable period afterward for dispute resolution. Support messages are retained for 12 months. You may request deletion at any time (see below).
8. Your Rights
You may request a copy of the data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, or full deletion of your records by emailing us at connect@ktechpit.com. Deletion requests are processed within a reasonable time. Note that deleting your license record will permanently remove your entitlements and cannot be undone.
9. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Updates
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
